The Love of Werewolves

In the second volume of Memoirs of an Eighteenth-Century Werewolf, the young Lady Andronica Llewellyn travels to the Continent in order to learn the secrets of her past: the reasons she became a werewolf, the role played by the enigmatic Sisterhood of the Wolf, and the identity of the mysterious white-haired woman from her dreams, known only as Lysandra. At the same time, she is pursued relentlessly by the Apostates, who have sworn deadly revenge for the castration of James Wolfe.

When she arrives in Germany, Lady Andronica encounters other members of the Sisterhood, who know her from previous incarnations as the most irresponsible and disobedient of their kind. She is torn between loyalty to them and a fierce instinct to protect the humans she has come to love, as the Apostates threaten to kindle a catastrophic European war to further their own nefarious ends. To stop them, Andronica combines her talents for music and espionage in service both to the British crown and to the King of Prussia, Frederick the Great.

Andronica's efforts on behalf of the humans are condemned by the Sisterhood as a violation of their ancient laws and strictures. The situation comes to a head when she finally meets Lysandra, her companion and lover from countless lifetimes past, who is now a leader of the Sisterhood and committed to upholding their traditions. Will their love prevail, or does Andronica's independent spirit once again prove her undoing?

Follow the continuing adventures of Andronica and Lysandra, as they race across eighteenth-century Europe in an effort to thwart the Apostates' evil designs.
